We offer dance classes for ages 3 thru 18. We teach
ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, and hip hop. We also teach
beginning introductory acrobatics. We have been
teaching dance in this area for over 25 years and strive to
teach the students discipline and dedication to the art
form. We are dedicated to the art and expect our students
to be also. We strive to offer a quality program without
blowing our horn in the process. We care about the whole
student .....in mind, body, and spirit.

| REMINDER Tuition is always due the first class of the month. After the 15th you are subject to a late fee. Someone always ask why do we pay the same amount each month when we don't always have the same number of dance classes each month. This is always explained at the beginning of the year and in your first newsletter. For those who did not read the newsletter you received lets review: You receive a certain number of total dance classes per dance year. Payment is broken down into monthly payments due the first of each month. Holidays and vacation days are built into the number of classes you attend. Rehearsals, competition practices and other events are not charged for. A few parents actually pay the full amount at the beginning of the year so they don't have to deal with monthly tutition. |
| QUICK NOTES THE PRELIMINARY CLASS SCHEDULE OF CLASSES FOR THE 2012-2013 DANCE YEAR WILL BE POSTED MAY 25 RETURNING STUDENTS WILL RECEIVE FORMS FOR PREREGISTRATION IN CLASS. Many of you complain about not getting emails...why ?? Because you changed it and didn't let us know. Go to the contact page and send us a note so we can correct your email address. Include the students name and class time. We are getting lots of returned emails. If you change your email address you need to let us know ! Keep in mind some companies and school systems filters will block our emails from going through. |

| IMPORTANT LITTLE THINGS TO KNOW ..BE INFORMED |
ATTENDANCE It is very important that you attend class each week. Many students are juggling to many commitments to all kinds of activities. This causes you to be mediocre at everything and not very good at any one thing. It really slows the class down to have to constantly re-teach old material due to lack of attendance. BE ON TIME . This is not fair to the dedicated students who are ready to move on and progress. Middle school and high school students NEED to make up missed classes. To be in an advanced class you can only miss three classes. Advanced classes are for serious students who take dance classes with serious commitment. STUDENT DRESS CODES FOR CLASSES In order to make classes more uniform we have some basic attire students need to follow. Students should wear black leotards, pink tights, black tap shoes and pink ballet slippers. The last class of each month students can wear colors if they wish. Small children should have tap shoes with elastic bands instead of laces. Laces constantly come untied. Students taking hip hop classes only may use dance capri pants or dance shorts with basic plain tee shirts but all students are still are required to wear tights. Dance sneakers work best for hip-hop classes. If you have any questions about attire just ask your teacher. All attire must be in good taste or the teacher may ask you leave until the student complies. We do not promote brands or stores but most items can be found locally in the area. | Payment Reminders We have been having a lot of students and parents walking in and handing cash to the teachers when arriving or leaving class with NO documentation. You should ALWAYS put these funds in a sealed payment envelope COMPLETELY filled out. Some will just stick the money in a payment envelope without filling it out. This is a sure way to not get credit on your account due to us holding these funds until they get matched up with the correct student ( if they get matched up at all ). Checks should always have the child's name on it. Many times the writer 's name of a check do not match the child's last name. Anytime you ask the teacher to fill the envelope out you are using valuable class time for something you should do. This is not fair to the other students to have teaching time being used for this purpose. It only takes a minute when you arrive or leave. (Then you will not be getting those past due notices in the mail.) |
